10 to 13 element beam

Compensating for something else. Don't these idiots know massive amounts of rf can affect certain regions of the human body?

At 2.4 GHz, yes. It's called a microwave oven. Not good for you.

At 27 MHz, it's for "medicinal purposes". Perhaps someone can use that excuse when the FCC comes knocking?

Short wave diathermy operations use the ISM band frequencies of 13.56, 27.12, and 40.68 megahertz. Most commercial machines operate at a frequency of 27.12 MHz, a wavelength of approximately 11 meters.

There is one of those medical diathermy operations in a town about 11 miles from me. It wipes out Channels 12 13 14 and 15 here with about 5 s units of weird pulsing sounds. For some reason it goes on 24 hours a day.
