102" ss whip. is it still the best

There is an advantage to a long shaft short whip predator type antenna over a stainless steel 1/4wave whip,
they ride much stiffer & provide more stable signals on the move,
you guys won't notice because you don't use FM.

I use a 108” whip on 11 meters (not a 102” whip with a 6” spring,) I have found that the 108” whip noticeably out performs a 102” whip with a spring. I have attached a pic of my 108” whip. The 108” whip isn’t known to the masses. Most operators go with a 102” whip with a spring as many aren’t aware that you can get a 108” whip.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
