11 meters is rolling at 1228am?

I knew I should have 2!!! it's funny though, most of the time when 11m is hoppin, I have NOTHING on 10m. Definitely gonna check 10m after I do a little on .385 tomorrow

Same here, don't understand though they are so close in freq. I had some conditions on 10 but not like 11, it has been hopping like crazy.

-read the whole thread........'the old 'band-must-be-dead-because-i-don't-hear-anything' syndrome'. if you yell loud enough, they are there!

kinda like that 'other' forum. they all say 'no contacts', yet 100 other non-member contacts on their freq......

Maybe it's dead because everyone is just listening and not calling however it is quite possible the critical frequency may be just at or slightly below 28.000 MHz. It does happen quite often especially in a sunspot low period.Freqiencies as little as one MHz apart can either bounce back to Earth or penetrate the ionosphere and be lost.

Old thread, but since someone already brought it back from the dead...

Sat in the jeep and listened for a while, Lots of skip from Alabama and Louisiana on 6 and 23.
Someone dead keying over people on 28, and what sounded like a Jammer/Tone generator on 37-40 (bleed over)

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
