142 gtl/lower

Does anyone know if the 142gtl covers the lower ...example chnl 16 ?? or does that have to be done with a mod?

I think you need to ask the question a little better then that doc , 142 gets channels 1 thru 40 extra's for both above and below those can be modded into your radio if that's what your asking ?

I think that he is asking about a 10 kHz mod. He wanted to know if he could access 15A 27.155. You're correct though, he was not very clear.

Yes, the 142 covers the lower AND the upper portion of the table or shelf on which it sits, and it does this on any channel (including the example of channel 16 which you mentioned). You could modify your 142 to cover more of the lower and upper portion of the table or shelf on which it sits, but that would require adding to its outer case in a way which would allow it to cover more of the lower and upper portion of the table or shelf on which it sits.
