148 GTL SSB TX

Im trying to get my 148 GTL philippines unden board (side mic 5 pins) on track for USB.
the local get a lock on me about 9 o'clock.
Now after reading most of the service manual, none of them seem accurate.
my question is, anyone know the right VR for the SSB TX?
could it be VR4 VR5 or VR7 ?

none of the above play a role on modulation or receive.

here is the info you are looking for, and if VR7 does not affect your modulation then your limiter has been cut.

You will need the proper tool to adjust each:
1) the variable capacitor (CT2)
2) and the inductor (L59)

odd radio, the limiters are still there.
i was more conserned in getting dead center on SSB.
this was helpful.
