148GTL clarifier help

I want to try a clarifier mod that requires the replacement of D52 which is listed as a KB262, I have used a couple different cross reference numbers with no luck. The new 148 lists that as a regular 4148 diode, can i just use this one, does anyone know of a supplier for the KB262?
