Just watched the video, interesting on how simple to get a circuit to power the display.
Like you said the display might be bad and im satisfied that the radio is working now. Cobra/Uniden should of had a better supply or way to illuminate the displays
in these radios. Almost everyone has gone bad/not working. One of the biggest goofs on the front lighted displays. And the factories did nothing about it.
