1x4 2879 can i bypass the driver pill?

can get a deal on a 1x4 but really need a straght 4 pill..can i bypass the driver pill and go sraight to the final pills easily..thanks

Depends on what amp it is I guess. If it's a sweet deal grab it....sell it.... make some bucks and buy your 4 pill.

its a davemade..the radio i run is a stryker 490 so i think it would drive it to hard

Yes, you can bypass the driver easily. Remove the resistor between input of 4 pill out the ouput of driver. Disconnect power to the driver stage. Then disconnect the coax from the variable. The center wire goes to the input of the 4 pill/ transistor section. Make sure you solder the braid of coax back to ground also. If not, tuning will be greatly affected. That's it.
