FS are two (2) Texas Star Skeleton 100 2 Pill Class C, AM only Linear amplifiers.

These are somewhat rare, especially in this condition. Though one did have a switch added to the face plate at some point. It does nothing currently

Cosmetics are superb.

Both amps have had power wire upgrades done to them and have 50 amp Anderson connectors. Matching connectors for use by the buyer will be included.

I have completely rebuilt/replaced the RF sensing/Keying circuit on amp #2. A leg broke off the small TO-92 transistor. Factory spec.

Input, output and pass through tunes are perfect. No more then a quarter watt reflect on the input.

Amps produce every bit of 100 watts average or Bird power and just about 300 watts PEP. This is with a Philly Cobra 25Ltd keying 2 watts, swinging 7 watts average, 28 PEP

These are very simple, efficient Class C circuits. Point to Point construction. No PCBs

These will not work for SSB operation.

250$ each shipped, Paypal goods/services

Amp#1 has no switch
Amp #2 Has white tipped switch on face, not used. Due to the gain of the finals in Amp #2 i padded and retuned the input so a 2 watt deadkey produced an appropriate carrier of 30ish watts.20211121_151619.jpg 20211121_151402.jpg 20211121_151619.jpg 20211121_151402.jpg

There was a 150 on Seattle CL a few days for a similar asking price, post has expired, but it didn't have that switch that yours does.

The modle numbers changed and eventually they used 2sc2290s.

But overall output power never increased

It's pretty obvious the Skelton 100 got its model number from its average power. And we all know how people chase peak envelope power numbers.
