2004 Field Day plans anyone?

I will be working station NQ5H again this year but this year it will be on a new TenTec ORION that was delivered yesterday.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=""> I can't wait to get my grubby paws on such a nice rig and see for myself if it is as nice as the spec.s say it is ! Anyone else planning anything for field day?

Mike,

I plan on going to one of our local clubs (Satern) and join the fun. This is what i did last year,it gave me a chance to work 20 meters and PSK. I spent hours working 20 meters and logged many contacts.

And with my own ham gear acquired since last field day i plan on having some fun! I will listen up for you and anyone else from the forum.If anyone wants my call,ez-box me.

Hey Stu, Who knows maybe we will make a contact somewhere on the bands. Shoot me a e-mail with what call you will be running and I will sure try and keep a ear out for it. I made arangements to be off work that weekend and plan on being around the club station as much as possible. FYI.... We will be working "pool side" again this year. Since I won't be on call for work I may just take a dip myself. Ahhhh nothing like roughing it on field day.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

No problem i will find out what call there using and shoot you an email,even if it's the same day i go. Which BTW will be sat. sometime between 12:00pm thru 4pm or so.

Central Kentucky Amateur Radio Club will be having our field day at Campbellsville, KY. community ballpark. We plan a club pot luck dinner for the evening of 26th.
