20m 1/4 vertical... ground mount? 1/4 wave above ground or higher?

I would be making tuned radials if I mount it in grond if it is ground mounted, and several on the ground

ideas? comments?

No real need for tuned radials if the antenna is ground mounted. Just put in as many as you can and make them as long as you can. Lots of shorter ones (not too short) are better than a few longer ones. If you mount it above ground by any amount it would be better to used tuned radials and you do not need very many at all. Four will be a good starting point.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
