220mhz pl259 mobile antenna?

Cut a VHF 1/4 wave whip.
Or take a cheap glass CB antenna, cut the plastic coating, unwind the wire, cut the glass to length and run the wire straight up. Tape or shrink wrap and use a cap hiding the excess wire that you can use to tune it Fold or unfold for SWR.
I have a 2M antenna that I did that to, works fine.

Look for a mount that holds the whip with a set screw. Cut from the base of the whip to about 13".
Since im not using the diamond cr320a anymore and it is possible to break down which part of the antenna is 220? I can use the base section and I have dozens of length and diameter whips I can use or if its possible to dismantle the diamond for 220 ...
