Oh, that is awesome. I just made a contact out there on.Nauru atoll on 11m two nights in a row from out here in Southwest Arizona. The operator I talked to use the callsign 271, division, 21 Nauru and they were on a DX expedition. The operator also used his name as part of the callsign, but I'm not going to post that here because I don't have the persons permission and I don't know them personally if you heard them out there over the last few nights than you know who I'm talking about? The second contact was a clean S9 signal both ways and we had a nice QSO an uninterrupted one which is a miracle considered. I pulled him out of the buck on the lower side of 38 which was full of Hawaii and Australia operators. We did a QSY up to a higher frequency and enjoyed a nice chat.
Anyway, that's an awesome contact. I'm glad to hear somebody else was hitting that island chain. I have a lot of places that are on my bucket list. I never even dreamed of that one but it's definitely in the logbook twice.
