I had my vertical down, the swr was way way to high, had to remove coax<extra> from the antenna, and adjusted right length. It is now back in the air with a swr of 1 to 1<flat>, only thing when I got on was California coming in, band had changed fast.

hmmmmmmmmm......a 'bronze' reunion.
last week while talking to europe on 27385, had either some EXTREME
backscatter from ohio & indiana mixed in with the west coast or maybe some autumn e skip? europe was +10 and better, west coast was 59 & oh & in were right in the middle.
talk to 1 guy in EI from the mobile almost every day on 28360, except for a couple weak '8's' one day last week, haven't heard the ole dr or b-man in there, but will keep checking & calling.
