29 LTD Classic RF gain issue

In this case, how's your 10.240 main - running ok?

Why ask? See if the IF drift is from something the local Oscillator is throwing into this...

I found some weird - wired stuff that took me down a rabbit hole, but I also got nabbed by my XYL to go shopping...so had a busy day, go up two posts I updated post #12 with some of this stuff I found that as I researched this more I began to remember several times a forum erupted in flames from others bashing this issue over and over - so I'm not trying to re-open an old wound but it is important to know how RF gain gets powered and the differences that the Schematics' tell you, versus what your eyes see - very different story.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
