29 ltd meter trouble

working on a 29 ltd the meters i have used none seem to be responding anything, no power no transmit nothing, radio works great, sounds great just the meter doesnt read anything. where in the radio has to do with the meter?

it's more then likely just the meter itself 316 , you might be able to loosen it up very carefully with a small jewlers screwdriver , you will fine scotch tape over the holes in the meter on both sides , you can very carefully and slighty turn the screws on either side , watch the meter as you do this , many times they will free themselves up , kind of like a little popping sensation. If it's totally gone ? you will know it . You can get new ones for about 7.00 and they are very easily replaceable. Good luck to you 316

Greg tried the meter in another radio and it worked so there is another problem somewhere........the radio has been that way every since I bought it.
