2950 mods......?

What does one NEED to know for a proper answer to my next question? I have a RCI 2950. I would like to know IF I can have something done inside so that I can receive some of the 25.400-26.900 feqs...



As it is at this time it upper 26mhz-29.600???

If it has the Green Display Stock and Surface Mount Components

in it, then it is the 2950dx !! aka.... the New One.



Frequency range stock is 24.000 to 32.000 mgH. and with the eleven meter mod. the gaps are filled in the range of

26.695 to 27.405 to give complete coverage. Assuming that you have a antenna and or transmatch (tuner)that will let you work those frequencies.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
