Anyone use one of these yet, 200 watts out of the box and the price is low on them for what you get

You do realize that's 200 watts PEP which is around 100 watts AM? That's a great radio and talk very well, especially Sideband.
 
One of the locals just got one. He says the wiring/coax interfaces in the back have changed. It seems the wires come off the radio in the back several inches and you attach to those. I haven't seen it, but I don't care for that setup.
 
Looks like a galaxy 98vhp with a 2970dx face. i actually prefer the style of coax/power lead the new 2970N2 has gone to. The new 2970n2 is one of the radios on my wish list.(y)
