anyone have this base yet? i'm thinking of getting one but don't know how it will compare to the 2990dx. i know that it has only one tuning step which would make it more like the 6900 than the 2950. i like the fact that it comes with echo and talkback all ready in it. i guess my overall concern would be how well this radio would do on sideband opposed to the 2990. let me know what you guys think. thanks.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
