My friend just bought a new type with the mosfet and switchmode power supply 2995dx and it has a frying sound in the transmit audio,This is the second one i have seen do this,The first we sent back to ranger and they fixed it they say with an alignment but i am sure there is more to the story..I know it's not the power supply,Done tested that.It sounds like eggs frying in a pan and is barley noticeable unless you have a rig sitting next door..Has anyone else seen this issue and if so what was the cure?Hints tip's appreciated...PS:Radio puts out full power and no other issues than the eggs frying with a dead key and mike gain fully ccw..
