Can someone tell me what type of differences do the different letters designate. 945AQ? 945A? 945LQ?

Are they quality control notes?

I ordered 945AQ's and got 945A's.

I'm replaceing TR-26 in a 8719 Madison, if it's audio grade vs switching grade or something like that, I'll order new ones, if it won't make a difference, I'm good. Just don't know what the differences are...

Thanks ,
Tinkerer

There is a difference with these parts, and you are right. But I've never really noticed any difference in the end product. If you find some real significance; then let us know . . .

EDIT:
I think that if the A is merely a switching grade; then it is probably more than acceptable since the audio freq range is actually small compared to a transistor that is spec'd for higher freq capacity. Since that TR is used in an audio circuit, doubtful that it is an issue. Just a thought.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
