3-500Z Weird Noise/xmt or no xmt

Hello Ops.

Iam just curious ,have a new pair of tubes in amp -AL82 when I turn on
the amp the right tube starts making a Weird noise like a musical high tone
when I tune up the the amp no matter what drive I use after correct loading
the noise will cease for a bit then the noise comes back later-must turn off.
I did a high pot test and both 3-500zs are ok,but the right tube has gotten
somewht hot the glass is now gray color? Could this be a zenior diode in the
grid circuit shorting or operating intermitently ? or something else.Tnx.

Use yer amp on AM if it's weak smoke will come out of the weak parts.
