350AR Control Head Question

Is anyone having any problems with the control head or display due to it being mounted on the dash and exposed to direct sunlight?

I am about to bite the bullet and buy the 350AR and the GPS that mounts in the head, but am concerned about mounting it where the GPS can "see" the satellites.

I have my FTM-350 mounted on the dash of my van with the the GPS installed in the head and have not had any issues. Take a look at this picture.

You're not going to have any problems putting it on the dash.
