I am working on a 40,20,10 parallel fan dipole to fit in my attic right now the 40 meter part end to end in my attic will hang down 5' on either end can I rap the extra 5' around a 2' PVC pipe to make it electrically shorter?

OR just let it hang?

EDIT:
I opted for it to hang down

Let it hang, making sure it doesn't come within six inches or so of flammable material. The ends of a dipole are the high voltage points.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
