Has anyone on here used the 4233BA Workman blue channel display on 29 LTD?

If so were yours exceptionally bright even with switch on dim?

if you'd like the DIM position to be dimmer, you can increase the value of R115 (2.7K)
try a 4.7K resistor, note the difference and then choose the value from there.

Wait until you do some night driving.

^ This. :ROFLMAO:

Yep, then an officer will try to pull you over for "having your phone out while driving". Had that happen to me a few times when I ran my old Cobra 146GTL in the mobile... it had that bright blue digital readout display in it. Kinda funny, actually...

~Cheers~

you could also get one of these which might subdue it a bit:

Haha!! It's so freakin' bright, though... Like Low Boy said, it's great until you drive in the dark with the radio on.... it'll about blind ya.

~Cheers~
I’ll take along some masking tape!

Thanks for all the input. I’ll see how it goes!
As loosecannon stated, I'd definitely add some resistance or you won't expect a very long life from those workman displays.
