Oops, typo.

So far, Ive found out it's not D22 or D21.

No they are different radios. That mod will not work on the 68.

What IS the 9/19 mod you are referring to?

I have a PC76XL with a CH9/NORMAL switch that allows me to select HI/LO power. In the up (CH9) position I get the 45+ watts high performance mod. In the down (normal) position I key 2 watts in order to run a small amp.

The switch is only used as a switch however.

What IS the 9/19 mod you are referring to?

I believe they are talking about instead of the switch taking you from normal to 9 it will take you from normal to 19.
