6m Crazy Opening 6.2.18

Well I missed the opening to S. America around 2100z.
However Huge opening to Gulf Coast area (0:13z - 3:00z) lasted past time I went to bed, and shut down due to T-Storms moving into the area.
NOTED GRIDS WORKED:

Signals were all most unbelievable in strength....
Station in Lou. 100w and squalo loop at 15ft...S9
Station in FLA...First contact on new radio IC-7300/100w using his 20m Vert GP...59
Station in Miss. 6m Ringo at 30ft/100w....S9
One of the Op's in OH...worked a station on INDOOR Dipole running 10w from FLA.
Yes a FUN opening...coat hanger antenna and 100w would have been enough to cause you a Pile-Up...
This was the second good opening in just the last few days...many stations in log on 5.31.18
The Stations in FLA were working Far North into VE3 and VE2 land and up the East Coast...
I left the beam pointed due South out into the Gulf...working stations from FLA to W. Tx...Mexico with S9+ reports and never moving the antenna.

I haven't been on 6m but have been working FT8 on 10m the past couple of days and it has been hopping. I even snagged E51BQ last night!

I'm trying to close the gap on 5 band WAS and with ND confirmed on 10m I have 24 to go--11 on 10m alone.

I made contacts today from New Mexico to Washington - Oregon.
grids-DM76, CN86, CN87 . Not too bad. One of the guys was mobile and one guy running a stainless steal whip.
