Assume that it tunes via r13, It would be really touchy to tune.
I wonder how stable it is?
 
I think if a freq counter kit and a very stable power supply were to be used with it, it would work. The clarity of the freq sine wave changes @40mhz. The square wave will work from 0-1mhz, as the specs say.

Stability and accuracy have to be far better than an analog generator. If you ever owned a cheapie $35 analog generator and used one for radio alignments; then one could appreciate what this board may provide. It may be be a welcome tool - in comparison.
