706 MKIIIG ???

[Icom 706 King Cobra]

anyone hear anything on this..



over the last month i have been hearing vague comments..



supposedly is all the 706 MKIIG is (that i already have)..

but adding 220 band & upping the power a bit..



or is it simply not happening..

i have been told it will be anounced for fall??..



am quite curious...

for i am tired of having to use my T90 ht for 220 band..lol..

I asked a sales guy at HRO about 3 weeks ago (Icom comes into this store to do "classes" on how to use their radios)....he said no way; the radio would have to be completely reworked...
