I had a 959 BJT version and a 979 mosfet version in my parts radio, so I took out all the inductors associated with the output amplifier section and measured them.

18awg wire was used in all the air wound coils I took out. Measurements were at 27.1MHz.

sorry for the edit. I realized I had labeled the toroid as core in the top picture, and wrote core for R249 because it said "core" in the schematic. So where it says "core is barely inductive, I am referring to the toroid, not the R249 "cores". The "core" in the 979 was a 10048.
