I'm about to start tampering with compression on ssb. I know I typically have the "turn everything all the way up" syndrome but I'm trying to get out of this.
I want to have a simple, but not to complex way of viewing my levels, I was thinking about using the swr led 're wired to illuminate as the alc is activated.. seems simple right? In looking at the schematic scratching my head and its not coming to me.. I'm figuring I could tie it into the emitter of q50?? It wouldn't be in series, just led, resistor to ground right? Or do I need the 2 other diodes? I don't wanna effect the circuit sui would I need some coupling? Thanks
