Does anyone make a 4 pin to 5 pin adapter?

I have a standard RK56 4 pin cobra/uniden wired mic I would like to use on a Grant XL and be able to switch back and forth.

Or do I have to put a 5 wire connector on the RK56 and use a 5 pin to 4 pin adapter for use on the General Lee?

Or I guess I should just buy a new mic. <img src=http://users.joplin.com/dutch64804/posticon53.gif ALT=":53">

Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
