Check this out...Icom's new rig. This is a land mobile rig for 0.5 - 29.9 mhz. The interesting thing is that it has ALE built in! I would be willing to bet that this is a precursor to seeing this technology in ham rigs. Remember in the other thread that I said that we as hams should stop complaining about technology advances that cause us to have to learn to operate differently or adjust our practices? This is an example of what I was getting at. Other services can grow and learn; there's no reason why we can't also.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
