I never understood a 1x2... or a 2x4. When I bought that X-Force 2x4, I took the driver section out and made it a straight 4. Way too much drive in either configuration.

A 1x2 is good when you need a driver and want too run everything in self destruct mode. For a daily driver it's a useless money pit.

With the price of transistors, I just couldn't get myself to run anything like that. I want my stuff to last, especially since most of my stuff still has Toshibas in them.

At first thought the jumpers were backwards which would cause the relay chatter. But hell no!

A 1x2 is good when you need a driver and want too run everything in self destruct mode. For a daily driver it's a useless money pit.

The only other time is if you are only going to key for 10 seconds at a time, then un key and sniff for 10 ohm smoke....
