amateur radio and skype


I've done it with other VoIP software, but not skype...principles are the same though. Do you have HRD installed and hooked up to your rig already?
 
I just downloaded the latest HRD (I was behind a couple versions) and the new 4.0 version is really nice. Installed Skype today and got it working with little trouble. Phone modes are no problem. I don't think it will work with digital modes, though. I tried PSK31 and couldn't make it work. Pretty fun stuff.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
