I recently got one of these 2410H's in a trade. Been needing a dual bander for the truck. This one already had the MARS CAP Mod done and was immediately amazed at the extended TX-RX coverage. Only drawback to this older rig (early-mid '90's) is the limited memory channel capacity. Only 15 memory channels per band.
VHF RX starts at 118mhz and has the entire AM Aircraft Band in AM of course. 118~136
VHF TX 136~174
UHF RX starts at 320~399
UHF TX 400~479 / so covers business, FRS & GMRS !
RX again higher at 830~950
VHF 5-10-45 watts UHF 5-10-35 watts

Nice range this little guy has. If you'd like to have these capabilities then be on the lookout to pick one up!
Manual should be in tomorrow so I can program the memories and install it.

if you have the hm-56a tear it down and replace the sm lytics.
make sure you get all the electrolyte off the board.
otherwise one day it will go into tx.and stay.
seen too many that did this and tied up a repeater.
lift both pa modules and make sure there is compound properly applied.
both my 2410 were sent out of the factory with none.
both suffered cracked 2m pa modules.
i can repair them and got the rigs very cheap.
