Yes, to enable the 10/12 meter position on the AUX slot of the band switch:
UNPLUG IT!
take the cover off
Make sure it is UNPLUGGED!
Locate the green wire at the back, on the rear panel PC board that grounds the ten meter input coil.
cut the wire.
Put the top back on.
You might need to tune the 10/12 meter input slug if the SWR is high on the INPUT of the amp.
Never work on a tube amp plugged in.
Never defeat the safety switch that disconnects the HV when the cover is off.
I know I am harping on this, but High Voltage can kill you if you do not respect it.
Be careful, and then enjoy.

W5LZ, I agree, I have seen people light up those poor plates on those 811A tubes to almost white hot!!! Treat the amplifier well, and it will give you years of long lasting service.
