My friend has a ts 350 and when he turns it on he says the rx drops on his radio, any where to start looking?

Maybe relay(s), dried cap in the keying circuit, blown "keyup" Transistor?
I guess it could be anything after all, I can't suggest a specific spot to look at, he could look around for anything that may have let the magic smoke out.

If it's a Texas Star, you need a PN2907A or 2N2907A transistor.

It's just to the rear of the relay.

I should post a pic showing where to add a capacitor in parallel with it to prevent the new one from going bad like this one did.

Must be one here somewhere.
