An unbuilt SB 221

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry over this. $2,200.50 for an unbuilt SB 221 with a separate 10-meter conversion kit.

Feel free to laugh. I did. In 2011 for $2200 you can buy an amp that is 10 times the quality of that kit and you don't even have to build it yourself!!

That old kit only has value to those who still love old Heathkit stuff.

I seriously doubt anyone will buy that. The seller has to be high.

I have no intention of bidding, but I think the seller will get his amplifier sold. The buyer will be uninformed as to what he's getting, or just wants a Heath Kit, or likes building things. For the same amount of money a 'better' amplifier shouldn't be difficult to find if you look at all.

that kit will sell fast.there is a cult like group that goes nuts over unbuilt heathkit stuff.saw a hw-101 go for near that.
