Things have been in the plans for some days now.
We were told 2, then 1 and today 3. I was hoping for NONE!
To simply go back Home and not have to do this.
But I did.
You see, what I am referring to here, is visiting sick children in the hospital.
They were mild cases but none the less not at Home at this joyous time of year.
They had a chance to talk to Santa via my 2 meter HT.
I have done this many years ago until restrictions of cell phones etc. were put into place in hospitals.
With perseverance and many communications, all the volunteers pulled it off.
The kids smiles says it all !!
If anyone is interested, Dec, 23, 2010, a transmitted/edited signal of the event will be airing on 147.180 F.M. on the Cornwall, Ontario repeater area at 6:45 P.M.
