I want to make a shortwave ant.

I have two Slinkys and the are the big ones.

The are both 3 Inch Round

So I was going to make a Di Pole ant. out of them and put one Slinky on eatch end and just stratch them out.

What I need help with is this?
They say that when you take a wire and make a loop or loops out of it it does something to the Radio wave.

Now I know the longer your ant. wire is the more you will pick up. And if the wire is to long you can still take advanatage of the long wire buy just rapping it around and around something.

You will still get the same length of wire but rap it and make it shorter that way.

So I thought ok a Slinky is aready in big Loops.

Then I read that looping the wire does something to the wave.

Amd I ok or please explane???

Try it and see what happens. It's called "experimenting".

Try the slinkies. Then try just regular wire - say 100 feet or so. Note the differences if you can detect any. Learn from this.
