Minus the high price I was thinking it could be used for many purposes at my house. My main use would be for medium sized VHF or UHF yagis if the mast when guyed was robust enough to handle the load.
May also try a antron 99 or small 10 meter yagi.
HF rotatable dipole ect.

Just keep in mind that these type of thingys are -only- for temporary use. If you intend a permanent installation you will have problems.

That's a good point about Longevity/Strength.i bought the Sirio Gainmaster & purchased Military Mast through E-Bay: 70', I then attached to a super straight tree behind the shack with stand off pipe clamps. She's up there 30 above the canopy. the Dx-2547 has Great ears, and super DX Ability. I think it'll work good for a few years...... fingers crossed.
