I know not all makers are the same so with that said, Who makes a good antenna tuner for 25.xxx mhz-29.xxx mhz that I could use on my 257hp? how much power loss will I get using one? Currently I'm at a 1.1:1 at channel 38 cb band. I'm hoping to not spend more than my radio cost to get one if that's the case it's not worth it.

THANK YOU ROBB!!!! That is great looking.:tt1: I will be ordering on payday. Plus it is lighted and will replace my current swr meter. Let alone I love tinkering and building stuff.

There is no power loss in a purely reactive circuit.
Ahh 359, you are no fun. The smart a$$ part of me was going to comment 50-75 watts :D
Personally I would equate it as to the same amount of power that is lost with 2 more connections of the coax.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
