Any Hot Mods for the Uniden "Honest Abe"?

Lost all power? As in nothing lights up?
I'd check your power cord and the inline fuse first . . .

does the radio receive at all? if it is not receiving it may be out of lock at the pLL. does the TX/RX light change when you key the radio? there is so much info you need to give out. those radios were bad about the legs on the crystals breaking off due to the age of the radio.
from what info you have given so far I would be more apt to telling you to take to a shop where they know what they are doing and have all the right test equipment. having a watt meter will not get you there. like Robb stated take it to a shop or someone that knows what they are doing.

I know this is 10+ years old but there was another page from back in 2007 that had a list of mods that worked wonders in my honest abe as well. Only difference was there was no c56 in my honest abe, there was a c59 which is where I installed the cap/resistor but everything else was correct http://www.radiomods.co.nz/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1351
