Anyone know what i'm hearing??

My wife and I use MURS ch. 1 (151.820) and in the town where I work there is a low power transmitter that for the past few months transmitts "alert zone one" twice every minute? I wonder what it is?

I didn't research this, but check out this website and see if it might be one of these things. They use MURS frequencies.

That is exactly what it is. Look Here on page four where it describes the alert signals.
