Anyone use Hygain 2 meter yagi?

I used to run one years ago when I lived down on the valley.
Used a hd TV rotor to turn it.
It went together easy and tuned well, very simple construction.
The thing about the mounting bracket is that the boom is split in half and each end slips into the bracket,
then you tighten the bolts down and it clamps the boom in place.
When you first look at it, It seem like it might not be the best way to do it, but after I built it, the mounting and boom connection was solid.
I had it up for over 4 years with no problem, nothing worked loose or ever failed.
Made a lot of contacts on that beam.
I kind of lost interest in 2 meter stuff around that time and sold it to fund another project.
Served me well when I had it.

I noticed the boom clamps as well. I'd prefer if it was swaged, but it does seem to be adequate. I got it this afternoon. I have it partly assembled. I'm just puttering with it and taking my time. The element eyebolts are familiar. I put something like this together a long time ago. I think this thing will perform very well. I hope to have it up shortly.
