The radioddity cb-5000 was strangely available on Amazon before it showed up on their own site.
Yesterday it finally made it to their site so I couldn't help myself
It's a better deal too. You get 1 year and 6 months warranty for starters.
Then their version comes with the programming cable and a rj45 to 4 pin microphone adapter which is really cool.
Add the wwdx promo code and it comes to 170ish huns out the door.
How could I say no to that!

Ok so it's been about a couple of weeks now and I can report a little bit on this radio.
For starters, it's a nice feature packed and in a small package which makes it quite the novelty. You could say it's takes from the q6 pro and packs it into a tiny footprint with less power.
The cb-5000 has an edge over the at-5000 because of the warranty and the extras you get in the box but the radio itself is identical.
You get a mic adapter and programming cable that the anytones don't come with as far as I know.
I haven't invested the time to be a die hard user but I have made a few contacts ssb barefoot and some local chats with the little fella performing really nice.
It's crazy that this little guy really puts a whoopin on my galaxy 959

I haven't ran it mobile yet but I'm going to soon.Thanks for that! Did you have a go with it mobile or indoors. I am curious how these do with ignition type noise and what you think of the noise reduction overall on this little guy. Cheers
Go over to 390 wagonmasters channel and he's been running his mobile with great reports in the mobile.
You really can't go wrong with this little radio. No quirks or bugs so they must have really spent time before they releasing this one.
Before going mobile, I'm going to drive the Texas star 399 with it because this little radio is a perfect match for the Texas star.
