Astatic 3K Liner Load Anteena

Can anyone tell me if this antenna is a good one for 10 & 11 meter's. And how they work for shooting skip..

Tom,
I'm not familiar with that antenna. When I did search for it all that came up was helicopter VOR antennas, and I seriously doubt if those would be good for anything on 10 or 11 meters - lol. In general I can say that it will transmit/receive like any other antenna of the same electrical length (1/4, 1/2, 5/8, 27/86ths, whatever). Not much help, huh? Sorry 'bout that.

They suck.The antenna is heavy and has poor quality top mast for stinger, set screws stripped out real easy.

And more to the point failed big time in a comparison test with the 10K.

Buy it and your be sorry.

Just a heavy coiled bottom shaft with a long stinger on top. Not an open coil.
Like I have said before, this is one poor antenna for many reasons. I usually don't bash things but in this case I fell for the hype and it sucks.
