Got a 575 that seems to work fine when the gain is set to minimum. However, as I increase the gain, the audio seems to cut off in a pulsating fashion as I speak. It kinda sounds like i'm keying the mic on and off as I am talking.

I checked the battery...does this sound like a bad switch or some componet failure?

When I transmit a solid vocal or signal tone into the mic it will cut off in regular quickly timed pulses.

Lol, trying to describe the problem is weird.

EDIT: I found the problem. Loose wire on the PCB. Wouldn't have thought that would have caused a timed pulsing like that. Oh well, works good now.
