it's not necessarily the actuator part of the switch that is making noise, but more likely is the mic button itself creaking and cracking along its range of motion.
you can try a little bit of grease in some strategic locations, but if you operate mobile, there is a good chance that when the inside of your vehicle gets hot, the grease will 'melt' and leak out.
just another sign of bad quality control in the CB manufacturing business these days.
you might have some luck with graphite, but again, it could be messy.

I had the same problem with mine. I took it back to where I bought it. They took the microphone apart and greased it. Haven't had anymore problems in about a year and half now.
Just drill a hole in the side, install a zerk fitting, and pump that puppy slap up. 
No not really. Unscrew cover and you will see the actuator which moves, a light coat on the sliding/ moving parts. You could use some KY, but petroleum jelly will work fine. Just like Brill crème ...a little dab wil do ya!

Zerk fittings are good. I've got one in each knee and one in left wrist.
But anyhow...I had a mic that the PTT piece made a creaking noise when depressed. I put some silicone on it from a spray can...works fine now.
Sprayed some on a piece of flat sheet metal. Let the carrier evap then drug a Q-tip through it and applied to the creaking plastic part.
Now that I type this and mention Q-tips makes me think ear wax may have worked as well or better.

I prefer toe jam my self, but be careful applying that to a microphone.......might smell a little, and a good chance of getting jock itch on your lips.

I’ll have you know I shower twice a day. And I have such great body chemistry that I’ve never worn deodorant, I do not smell (stink) when I get hot or sweat. How’s that for a Sith Pimp?

It's definitely in the switch. I took the mike apart and pulled the keying bar out and just pushed on the switch. Same stupid sound. I hit the switch with some electronics cleaner. Took most of the noise away but it's still there,especially if the mic moves in your hand at all while it's keyed. Stuck with another pos.
I used to take the mic switch completely apart in Road King RK56's and Astatic 636L's, carefully and burnish the sliders and the bars with a small file, then put it all back together, then spray it. Be careful of the springs under the sliders.
Also other mic switches too. My Ranger mic used to cause the radio to chir-beep when I unkeeyed with the Roger Beep on. So I cleaned the switch, no more chir-beep.
